Fall in Cape Breton is truly a spectacle to behold 🍂🌻

Last week we had a great group of ladies complete our Cabot Trail Bike Tour. During their guided tour they experienced the beautiful fall foliage that Cape Breton has to offer, ate tasty seafood, and even witnessed the aurora borealis, a rare occurrence in Nova Scotia!

It’s Leif Erikson Day, a day that commemorates Leif Erikson, a Norse explorer who is believed to have led the first Europeans to North America 🛶

L’Anse Aux Meadows, at the northern tip of Newfoundland, is believed to be Leif Erikson’s Vinland of the Norse sagas, and is the site of the birth of the first European descendant in the New World. L’Anse Aux Meadows was only first excavated in the 1960s, and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978!
