We’re so glad to hear that the minke whale was ok. Probably stressed out but alive!

Not something we see on the river everyday! Today our guests got a different experience, it's not normal that we see big whales out there.

*We did report the sighting, and if you are in the area and see this whale (or another similar wildlife) always report it 1-866-567-6277)

What a thill to see and HEAR these Fin whales today.
They would measure three times the size of our boat at 75/80 feet!
During this close encounter the whale was checking out those humans. I’m
pretty sure she winked at us . Ha

So these dolphins are the common dolphins. Most of them seem to enjoy swimming with the boat ..
I started off idle speed then stayed at about 15 knots .
The kids in the video are kneeling on the floor of the boat. It’s almost as if the jumping dolphin wants to see or hear the kids. Enjoy !

Tune in to CTV News tonight at 6pm to see Captain Kinnon MacKinnon answer some questions about our recent shark sighting and see some more footage of this amazing creature!

What a sight to see… from a boat, of course!

We were lucky enough to stumble across this Great White shark yesterday as it feasted on a seal. We watched in awe for 20 minutes as it nibbled, and sometimes thrashed and chomped, on its fresh, locally sourced snack.

These waters are probably not new to this shark, but to witness this beautiful fish in its natural environment feeding on its natural food source was a truly unique and amazing experience!
