Snowmobiling takes you into remote and beautiful snow-covered terrain and allows you to experience the winter wilderness in a way that’s truly unforgettable. Though it’s traditionally a male dominated activity, our expert guided tours give women a chance to learn how to ride in a safe environment, develop their skills, challenge themselves and feel a sense of freedom and empowerment. We are excited to have a few women on our February 24-26 tour opting to ride their own sleds!

Whether riding solo or doubling up as a couple, we always encourage women to test out the driver seat. They likely won’t want to get on the back after that 😎❄️

Hi there 👋🏼 Shannon & Sean here, founders and your hosts of Margaree Weekends. Our mission at Margaree Weekends is to provide a renewed appreciation for winter by showcasing the magic of Cape Breton Highlands through elevated culinary experiences and outdoor adventures for small group tours.

We began in January 2022 with a pilot tour to bring our vision to life. This year we have made some exciting improvements to our itinerary, accommodations, and have partnered with an incredible lineup of leading chefs and local businesses. We host groups of 8-10 at a time to keep the experience intimate and truly connect with each other throughout the weekend.

Nice way to finish off the weekend! A fully booked tour with a few bookings rolling in for the other dates as well. It’s humbling to see the interest and engagement from likeminded folks who want to explore this part of our beautiful province with us.
