And if you have already found the way to 2970 meters above sea level, then enjoy a delicious James Bond breakfast while you let the mountain world rush past you. With the revolving restaurant this is possible without moving a meter! I enjoy the trips to the Schilthorn - it feels like freedom!

Machu Picchu...🌄
Historical place in Peru 🇵🇫
Machu Picchu is an Incan citadel set high in the Andes Mountains in Peru, above the Urubamba River valley. Built in the 15th century and later abandoned, it’s renowned for its sophisticated dry-stone walls that fuse huge blocks without the use of mortar, intriguing buildings that play on astronomical alignments and panoramic views. Its exact former use remains a mystery.

The colosseum in Rome...
Location : Rome, Italy 🇮🇹

The Colosseum Italian: Colosseo is an oval amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy, just east of the Roman Forum. It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world today, despite its age. Construction began under the emperor Vespasian (r. 69–79 AD) in 72 and was completed in 80 AD under his successor and heir, Titus (r. 79–81). Further modifications were made during the reign of Domitian (r. 81–96). The three emperors that were patrons of the work are known as the Flavian dynasty, and the amphitheatre was named the Flavian Amphitheatre (Latin: Amphitheatrum Flavium; Italian: Anfiteatro Flavio by later classicists and archaeologists for its association with their family name (Flavius).

The Colosseum is built of travertine limestone, tuff (volcanic rock), and brick-faced concrete. It could hold an estimated 50,000 to 80,000 spectators at various points in its history, having an average audience of some 65,000; it was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles including animal hunts, executions, re-enactments of famous battles, and dramas based on Roman mythology, and briefly mock sea battles. The building ceased to be used for entertainment in the early medieval era. It was later reused for such purposes as housing, workshops, quarters for a religious order, a fortress, a quarry, and a Christian shrine.

Lofoten Islands 💙💙💙
Location : Lofoten, Norway 🇳🇴

Of all the destinations within Norway, the Lofoten archipelago would have to be the most uniquely beautiful. Maybe this is due to
the charming fishing village homes or the remote and untouched feel it maintains, but regardless, its accolades rightfully lure thousands of nature lovers north to these stunning islands each year.

Due to its location above the Arctic Circle, getting here is not always simple. Be prepared to fly, road trip, or take a boat to your final destination. Once you are there though, activities abound. Visitors can do everything from hiking, fishing, and skiing to ocean rafting, scuba diving, and even catching waves - this region is said to have the best surfing in the country. After an exciting day, one of the many small villages will be happy to host you in a cozy rorbu, a traditional fishing cabin located right on the water’s edge.

See the Iconic Stadhuis..
Location : Leuven, Belgium 🇧🇪

Leuven’s most iconic building is without a doubt its town hall or Stadhuis. The building is a fine example of late Gothic architecture with stunning turrets, stonework and flags all adding to the imposing but beautiful appearance. There are a total of 235 statues, honouring notable past residents of the city, on the exterior of the building. These were added in 19th Century. All this is made even more remarkable by the fact that the building was very nearly destroyed during the Second World War but fortunately the bomb that skimmed the buildings facade failed to explode.

Stockholm 🍂💛
Location : Stockholm, Sweden 🇸🇪

Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, is the place where most tourists start their trip to Sweden.

It’s famous for its archipelago and its waterways.
That’s why island hopping is a must! One of the ways to do it is to travel by ferry from island to island. Or, you can choose from a wide variety of excursions — from excursions lasting only a couple of hours to multi-day tours.

One of the best experiences in Stockholm undoubtedly is enjoying the art of the metro (subway). Visiting the metro is like visiting an art exhibition. Yes, it is this good! There are a hundred stations, and each of them has its own unique style. Check out 14 the most beautiful metro stations in Stockholm.

Definitely visit Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s Old City Center!

It is one of the most beautiful spots in the country and thus one of the best places to visit in Sweden. It is considered one of the most well-preserved historic city centres in Europe.

Do not miss Drottningholm Palace – “The Versailles of the North”.
It is the private residence of the Swedish royal family.
The palace dates back to the 17th century and boasts extensive gardens.

Salzburg Altstadt, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Location : Salzburg, Austria 🇦🇹
As the residence of Prince Archbishops, Salzburg was a spiritual center from the earliest days of Christianity in Europe. The Benedictine Abbey of St. Peter, in the heart of the Altstadt (Old Town) was founded by St. Rupert in AD 690 and served as the residence of the Archbishops until the early 1100s.

The Prince Archbishops employed some of the finest artists and architects of their times to build and decorate their churches, residences, and monasteries, and although these have been "updated" in the tastes of successive centuries, the medieval and Baroque buildings combine to form a beautiful old quarter to explore.

Highlights are St. Peter's Abbey and its church, along with the beautiful cemetery and its catacombs, instantly recognizable as a filming site for The Sound of Music.

Nearby is the cathedral, and wandering among its colorful Baroque burgher houses, you'll find charming squares and attractions that include the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, now a museum. Above the beautiful spires and cupolas soars Salzburg's castle of Hohensalzburg, which you can reach by a funicular.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA MOVES CLOSER TO WORLD TOURISM ORGANIZATION WITH LANDMARK MEETING

Location : United States 🇺🇸
Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs Kevin Moley and Assistant Secretary for Economic and Business Affairs Manisha Singh were welcomed by UNWTO Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili, following up on the announcement that the USA is exploring rejoining UNWTO, of which it is a founding member. The two parties enjoyed productive discussions as the terms of membership are being finalized.

This is the highest level visit of a US delegation to the UNWTO headquarters registered so far. In June of this year, the United States used the occasion of the UNWTO Executive Council meeting to confirm it is exploring the possibility of rejoining, stating that “the UNWTO offers great potential to fuel economic growth in the U.S. tourism sector, create new jobs for American workers, and highlight American travel destinations”.

UNWTO Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashili underscored that “it is extremely encouraging that the United States has clearly signaled its intention to rejoin UNWTO and support tourism as a key driver of job creation, investments and entrepreneurship and safeguarding natural and cultural heritage the world over”.

Museum Square
Location : Amsterdam ,Netherlands 🇳🇱

There’s more culture on this one square in the Museumkwartier than you’ll find in most other whole cities.
The Museumplein is in Amsterdam’s well-heeled Oud-Zuid district, noted for its plush properties, upmarket boutiques (Hoofstraat and Van Baerlestraat) and the city’s favourite park at Vondelpark.
So needless to say, we’ll keep coming back to this part of the capital on this list.
But your main goal has to be the grassy square and its cluster of world-beating museums.
The big ones all follow below, counting the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the Stedelijk Museum, as well as the Concertgebouw, one of the world’s best places to watch a classical concert.
The area took shape in the 1880s after the construction of the Rijksmuseum, and the square was re-landscaped in 1999. There are outdoor events and celebrations on the square all year, including a skating rink from November to February

Bondi Beach, New South Wales
Location : Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺
Bronzed bodies, blond sand, backpackers, and surf – throw it all together and you get one of the world's most famous beaches. Only 15 minutes by car from Sydney's city center, Bondi Beach is a great spot for a taste of Sydney's beach culture. Bask on the golden sands, surf the breaks, or take a cool dip on a hot summer's day (but stay between the flags).

Few cities in the world lay claim to such an enticing slice of sand and sea so close to the city. No wonder it's one of Sydney's best beaches. And you'll find some history here, too: Bondi hosts one of the oldest surf life saving clubs in the world.

Away from the shore, you'll find plenty of things to do in Bondi. Take a stroll along the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk. It begins at the southern end of the beach and follows the coastline for six scenic kilometers along sandstone cliffs. And if you work up an appetite, you'll find plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. You can also hunt for bargains at the Sunday markets or swim some laps in the ocean pool.

Bondi also has a wild side. Crowds of tourists and locals gather here to celebrate Christmas, and ring in the New Year. It's a favorite spot for travelers.

A word to the wise: If you're taking a dip at Bondi, make sure you swim between the red and yellow flags. Strong rip tides often sweep unsuspecting swimmers out to sea, especially at the southern end of this kilometer-long strand.

The Amalfi Coast Italy 🇮🇹
The Amalfi Coast is a 50-kilometer stretch of coastline along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula, in the Campania region. It’s a popular holiday destination, with sheer cliffs and a rugged shoreline dotted with small beaches and pastel-colored fishing villages. The coastal road between the port city of Salerno and clifftop Sorrento winds past grand villas, terraced vineyards and cliffside lemon groves.

We always recommend dividing your time between the island and the mainland, spending at least three days on Capri and three days on the Amalfi Coast (based either in Positano or Amalfi) so you can fully savor both these breathtaking and unique destinations in the southern region of Campania. That said, we realize that not everyone has six or seven days to dedicate to the island of Capri and the Amalfi Coast. Here's a quick overview of the differences between Capri, Positano, and Amalfi to help you narrow your choices if you're pressed for time!
