Coffee topped with...more coffee! In our 90s Batman movie mugs from McDs no less!

The Dalgona whipped coffee trend swept our kitchen last weekend. Delicious!
Equal parts instant coffee, sugar, boiling water and we added some vanilla for extra flavour. Next time I might try to add some orange liqueur.

Butternut squash soup from QB gelato with a fancy spoon because all the days are starting to feel the same.

Tip: I like to toast some pecans or walnuts with brown sugar. But I don't have those today so I'm spicing it up with paprika.

A quick Google search and there are plenty of tips and recipes on the internet to take your taste buds on a trip.

Kimchi is packed with probiotics. It may be a bit smelly but it is so flavourful!

7 years ago in 2013 Taryn and I tested our chops in the Mission Hill kitchen back when they did full day classes. It was a very fun experience where we made 3 courses, were treated to an amazing spread for lunch break, toured the cellar and served our dinner to our + 1.

We learned a lot that day, mainly how sharp knives are, making savoury crepes and getting that poached egg perfectly soft the first time.

This was to be our official launch week.

We hope you'll join us this summer when things begin to get back to some normalcy.

The world has been placed on pause and when things do start to awaken and we can see each other again we know it'll be the locals and fellow Canadians who will be supporting each other first and foremost.

We've been drinking local wine and beer (a plenty), eating our Perseval & Young Cheese, ordering in from our local neighbourhood restaurants and doing what we can in general, like all of you.
