The well known teapot rock (a few minute walk down the beach from Sandcastles Beach House) may be gone but it still looks amazing, especially with my hunny Brian on it! 🥰 And there are some really cool new formations to be discovered along the shore.

Well Sandcastles Beach House came through hurricane Fiona with flying colours! 🌈Thanks to the work we have done over the last five years - new and improved posts (49 sonotubes with rebar) and two additional carrier beams all under the cottage, new siding, a new metal roof, and even hurricane ties - we are solid as a rock. And bonus! We incurred no water damage. Feeling very thankful 😊this Thanksgiving! 🦃

Terry's dream lives on! Next week, from sea to sea to sea, Canadians are joining together to keep the dream of supporting those with cancer going strong. Jane and Brian Power-Grimm, along with thousands of others, will be participating in the Terry Fox Run. Terry's dream inspires us all!

Whoa! Lots of new upgrades for 2022 at Sandcastles. Besides the new soundproofing, all new upper decks and railings, large 4K HD smart TVs, BBQs, USB chargers (in the lamps!), bathroom vanity and even a fresh new pop of colour on the door to greet you! ...just to name a few.
