Thoughts?!
On my most recent Delta flight I had booked, during check-in I upgraded and paid extra for a Comfort Plus window seat.

I no sooner sat down in my seat when the woman beside me asked me to give up my seat so her nervous cousin could sit beside her. The cousin was 3 rows back in an aisle seat in the Main cabin.....to be quite honest, she looked quite crowded but gave me a meek smile and little wave, trying to play on my sympathy.

A young guy overheard the woman and said "no way, that really isn't fair of you to ask her (me) that. She paid extra for this seat and it's perks, you are not doing that. If you all wanted the perks, you should pay for them just like anyone else sitting here has"

I was so grateful for that....the woman told him to mind his business, it wasn't about him.

If he hadn't said something, I would have felt obligated to move but I didn't.

An older man in the same Comfort Plus aisle barely sat down and she was on him to give up his seat. He gave up his aisle seat for her and he moved back to the Main cabin seats.

The two women were giggling and whispering and then never spoke the entire flight, watched TV and played on their phones and enjoyed the extra legroom, the Starbucks, wine and beer offered at no cost.
