Queen's Lookout is our last stop on our Welcomes scenic fall tour! 🍁🍂

If you’re looking to take in that golden hour autumn sunset then this is the place. Queen’s lookout is nestled downtown at 700 Queen Street, Kincardine and provides quite the view! There are picnic tables throughout a grass park, with an encompassing view of the Penetangore River, Lake Huron, the Lighthouse and Marina.

‼️Pro-tip: Queen’s Lookout is in very close proximity to Dairy Queen. Stop in there after dinner, eat your ice cream with an incredible view, then take a stroll down the trail! It will bring you along the Penetangore River, down by the lighthouse and marina, and out to the North Pier. This is a short, paved trail- though there is a downwards hill coming from the lookout. You can follow the sidewalks to get back up… if you wish to not back up the hill.

We're making our way to the Kincardine Blue Trail for our 6th stop on the scenic fall tour.🍁🍂

If you’re looking to get out for that crunchy leaf fall adventure, this is your trail.

We’d recommend parking at the Davidson Centre and entering the trail behind the playground. From there you can navigate the blue trail.

You will find winding trails immersed in the forest, following along the Penetangore River. There is also a large wooden teepee waiting to be discovered. The trail is a lengthy 9 km for those looking for an adventure, though there are opportunities to make it into a much shorter loop.
