We are looking for an experienced labourer
This role is a temporary contract position to start immediately till the end of this year, with potential of permanent position in 2023.
We are looking for an experienced labourer to assist with construction work alongside the supervisor and team. The responsibilities of this role are cleaning and organizing sites, loading and unloading materials, loading and unloading waste, demolition, organizing tools, and similar tasks in line with the field of work.
It is required to have 2+ years of experience in the field of construction. Should be well organized and favor safety precautions and quality standards are met.
Looking to find someone that is ambitious to work on a construction site everyday.
Only basic tools required to start (hammer, apron, pliers, screwdrivers, speed square, measuring tape and utility knife).
Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent, diploma in skilled trade
2+ years on a construction site
Mobile: Have a dependable mode of transportation and is able to make it to and from job sites in various locations around and outside the City of Kingston
Physically Capable: Able to repetitively lift, carry and hold 50+ lbs in a variety of body positions in long distances and work in a physically demanding job for 10 hours a day.Able to be on your feet and carry out strenuous tasks for extended periods of time
Dependable: Able to work on a team and carry out with and around others. Ensure quality of work in meeting standards of the team but also able to work alone for extended periods of time without being distracted and compromising quality of work
Able to be trusted and knowledge of construction procedure with materials, tools, equipment and vehicles and their proper maintenance, organizing, handling and proper use
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Availability: Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days
Flexibility, due to the nature of the work, start and finishing time may vary to be either earlier or later dependent on tasks completed on site and project requirements.

Salary: $17.50-$20.00 per hour
