My mother is originally from Jamaica and my father is originally from Trinidad. My parents came to Canada in 1973 but my brother and I have been back and forth to our Caribbean homelands multiple times over the years, each time wandering more and more out of our comfort zones to explore every nook and cranny we could find. I'm very much a sun-worshipper and the Canadian winters are pretty hard for

me to endure. I generally end up travelling 2 to 3 times a year to some tropical destination to get my fill of the 3 S's... Sun, sand and surf! So far, my destinations have been Cuba, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Bahamas, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Mexico, Dominican Republic, as well as all over the US and Canada. I already have plans made for several future travel destinations as well. Next year will see me in Ecuador and my partner and I are currently planning adventures in Africa and Europe following that. I can provide first hand advice on many different aspects of travelling including crossing the country on motorcycle or traversing the jungles on an ATV or horseback.
