We’re at the cabin tonight. Just our small little fam and as I prepare the beds, I had a good laugh. For our family, we don’t roll out the red carpet like we do with guests. Mismatched linen that has seen better days is the vibe. But somehow I wouldn’t have it any other way. Tomorrow, as we prepare for a new group of guests, you best believe the lodge will look her best!

From us to you - we wish you peace and joy during this holiday season. We have been so grateful for such a busy year at the cabin. In less than a week I turn 40 and although this year has been tough - we’ve worked hard to create a future of happiness, space, and a lot more peace. And we could not be more excited.

The decorating has begun! Christmas is a big deal at Lazy Days Lodge. We are so grateful for everyone who comes to help. With six trees (some small, some very tall!) and 20+ boxes of decorations, it takes many hours to get the lodge to look like a Hallmark Christmas Movie. We can’t wait to show you the final look by Sunday!

Did you know?
You can enjoy a hassle free drink outside in our beautiful yard. We’ve sprayed for mosquitos and all kinds of pesky bugs that prevents you from enjoying your well-deserved time off. We’ve had to test this ourselves (a hard job, we know) and found it unbelievable! The difference is amazing. Thank you Mr. Mosquito!! 🛑 🦟
Oh yes please! Bring on the summer fun. Is it just me or does it feel like summer happened so fast this year? We are looking forward to enjoying the sunshine and backyard games.

Third part of the Peace For All of Us series:
Our units are all inclusive and turn-key. All furniture and household items, all utilities, parking, storage, internet, and even Netflix is all included. We do all this and charge 35% less than market rent in order to meet our tenants where they are at. We also purchased a three-bedroom, two-bathroom single family home. This last Peace For All of Us home will be dedicated to foster parents who want to raise children in a safe, nice, and affordable home. The home is close to schools, transportation, and is family friendly.
In order to save money, Kevin attends the units regularly, doing everything from changing light bulbs, to teaching tenants basic maintenance. January of 2022, we celebrated one full year of Peace For All of Us. We have been fully occupied, and our tenants have been incredibly grateful. One last thing I will say, is that our mandate is to provide safe and affordable housing, but also nice housing. We want to promote dignity for our tenants, and provide a space for them to take a breath and heal. We want them all to know they deserve peace, and we care about them. And that they belong.
After a day well spent in the woods, creating memories and chasing adventures, you’ll love the fully appointed kitchen for making delicious meals.
