Vacation Rental Housekeeper Wanted!

Position: Part-Time Casual Vacation Rental Housekeeper

Location: Lake Cowichan and Youbou

Are you a detail-oriented and experienced housekeeper with a passion for cleanliness and organization? We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Casual Vacation Rental Housekeeper to join our team in Lake Cowichan and Youbou. As a Vacation Rental Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our rental properties are maintained to the highest standards, creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Tasks:

Perform general house cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the rental property.
Dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all areas of the property to uphold hygiene standards.
Clean kitchens and any dishes used by guests, ensuring items are returned to their designated places in drawers and cupboards.
Monitor the property for any damages and promptly report them to the management.
Keep track of the inventory of house, stock, and cleaning supplies, ensuring all essential items like salt & pepper, soap, detergent, and cleaning supplies are readily available.
Handle laundry duties, washing, and drying linens as needed to ensure a fresh and comfortable atmosphere for guests.
Make beds and organize household items in their corresponding places, maintaining a tidy and staged appearance of all rooms.
Ensure outside areas are neat and organized, including replacing chairs in their proper locations, straightening cushions on outdoor furniture, and wiping down/dusting tables.

Successful Applicants:

Must have a minimum of 1 year of cleaning and/or housekeeping experience.
Should possess an eye for detail, organization, and cleanliness to maintain the highest standards in our rental properties.
Must have flexible availability, including occasional weekends, as working hours generally fall between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., depending on the location and guest bookings.
Must have their own reliable transportation to commute to different rental properties.
Should be proactive and able to work independently, efficiently managing time and tasks to meet cleaning deadlines.

Starting wage of $20-$25 per hour, based on experience.
