This year, we focused on building relationships, sharing stories, and celebrating our community.

Through our Treaty, Truth, and ReconcilACTION efforts, we hosted two meaningful wampum belt teachings, brought people together for an Indigenous Peoples’ Day BBQ, and connected seven community organizations with valuable Indigenous resources.

Our signature events highlighted the vibrancy of our community through festivals and gatherings that brought us closer together. And, of course, we proudly celebrated eight incredible award recipients for their dedication to the community.

On the public safety front, we hosted 10 events and pop-ups and regularly engaged with schools and community groups through our public education programs.

Here’s to another year of connection, learning, and shared successes. 💫 Read more about our year in review: https://pulse.ly/egrowfun7c

21% more working full-time individuals are accessing the food bank now compared to 2021. It is hard to know someone's situation by outside appearances. Living in poverty or without a stable shelter is never anyone's plan.

A seasonal parking ban is now in effect for collector roads starting Dec. 16.

Collector roads have year-round signage, and will also have temporary signs, without dates, posted in the area. Please move your vehicle to allow room for our crews to efficiently clear the snow and ensure that main roads and bus stop routes are cleared. Parked vehicles will be tagged ($250 fine) and towed to the nearest cleared road.
