When you have history with a big deer for quite sometime then finally get to see him up close and personal… after watching him, searching for him . . It doesn’t always end like this but it feels pretty good when it does .!

Somedays are worse then others for missing the NWT mountains. It’s not the rams really that I miss the most I mean yes I do miss the smell of them but it’s more so the country, the simple little things , the fresh water , the blueberries 🫐, the sunrise 🌄 being light for so long.! These are the kinda things I look forward to experiencing again one day . Until then don’t mind me reminiscing every once and awhile.

To all my fellow guides gathering in gods country, packing food bags , weighing packs and making sure they got enough havalon blades to peel a few ram faces back. Goodluck stay safe. Repeat client Rich hunted with me back to back years before the COVID cluster slapped us outfitters in the face and still adds complications to business in the North, if you woulda told me3 years ago that a cough , running nose would cause all this mayhem I woulda called you a bullsh*tter . I’m still thrown off but have adapted to it and I know eventually we will over come it .! Can’t wait to Hunt with Rich soon

Although we do several hunts now adays, Big mule deer is where it all started . It isn’t uncommon to look for 15-20 bucks a day during the heat of the rut .! If big mule deer is something you’ve always enjoyed shoot us a DM for future hunt opportunities only got a few left for this November.!

Troy came along way to come on his first mountain lion hunt with a few close friends this passed winter . We caught this Lion free lancing one morning . Very few deer make it into the cabin for a minute to admire, but when there as impressive as the buck Timber King Outfitting] hauled in on with client on the opening hunt in 2020 ( also in an area he’s never hunted ever before I might add ) all understand certain situations make for certain highly moments. Wish I coulda been there for this one , Honestly Timber King Outfitting] is one of the best guides I’ve shared the mountain with. You can only fully understand if you’ve had the pleasure to do the same.! Congrats guys on a hammer 🔨!
