It is Musician Highlighting Time!

Say hello to drummer/percussionist, keyboardist, composer, and conductor extraordinaire, Nick Halley! He is one of four spectacular musicians performing on our stage on February 11th for The Duke Ellington Show!

Nick has performed and recorded internationally with a wide range of musicians, including American icon James Taylor, Tim O'Brien and soprana sensation Suzie Leblanc.

His dedication and commitment to the music scene in Halifax are extraordinary. As Founder/Artistic Director of the Capella Regalis Men & Boys Choir in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Founder/Director of The King’s Chorus, Nick is constantly delving into musical collaboration. Nick is also the Assistant Director of the acclaimed University of King’s College Chapel Choir, directed by his father, Paul Halley. Nick is the Cantor and Director for the chapel's male Compline choir and the Assistant Director of Music at the Cathedral Church of All Saints in Halifax. His apparent drive to share and educate the world of music to his community is commendable and admired!

Pine Grove Park nearby has the nicest collection of blooming Rhododendrons anywhere - set in a beautiful waterfront trail - a lake, river, towering pines and easy to navigate gravelled paths.

Cosbys Garden Centre in Sandy Cove, just outside Liverpool has a wooded garden area with concrete sculptures done by Ivan Higgins the proprietor. Tall pines, flowering shrubs and amazing works of art like you havent seen - Nova Scotia's answer to Rodin. And a lot more cheerful!
