✨Magical Mondays✨

On our second Magical Monday I wanted to highlight how magic follows you from arrival to departure. We all know that the worst part of a magical vacation is having to leave. Back in June of 2023 my flight left very early in the AM. I was sitting outside of Port Orleans Riverside awaiting my mears connect shuttle back to MCO when a kind cast member approached me asking about how my trip was. I jokingly told him it would be better if I didn’t have to leave. He told me he would be right back. When he came back he presented me with a birthday button. He said he wasn’t sure if it was my birthday or not but we had to celebrate something to make leaving not as bad. So that day the cast member declared it my un-birthday. Such a simple act brought the smile back to my face.

This will always remain part of my core memories 🫶🏻

✨Magical Mondays✨

Magical Mondays is a new weekly post I will be making highlighting magical moments or interactions I’ve had during my vacation. These special moments that happen spontaneously are one reason Disney is so special to me.

This photo is from my trip last November. While talking to this cast member we found out that she was almost done her Disney college program. We started talking about how during the summer of 2020 my friends and I were supposed to be working at Disney World as a part of the Disney Cultural Exchange Program, but our program got cancelled. Her and this other kind cast member decided to make us honorary fantasyland cast members. They made these buttons and gave them to us after being pixie dusted. It was such an amazing way to start are trip, the cast members, Mia and Kylie will always be apart of one of the most magical moments of our trip.

Is there anything better than spending the holidays at Disney. The holiday decor, snacks, merchandise and more are found throughout all of the parks. Magic Kingdom hosts an amazing after hours event called Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. I was able to go last year and had the time of my life frolicking through the park is matching pjs♥️💚
