After a very busy July & August, we're enjoying the soft, golden sunlight, still hitting those sweet high temps during the day, but cooling off at night for campfires & stars.

We're feeling a touch of Fall in the morning air 🍂 but we know September will bring us another wonderful warm Summer month in the North Okanagan. We think this is the perfect season, do you agree? 🥰

Cozy up at one of our rustic Cabins, perc some hot ☕️ (don't forget the Bailey's), stoke up the wood stove, wrap up in a blanket on one of our deck chairs & enjoy the quiet 🌠 night.

BC Wildfire update on Bonneau Creek Wildfire: Under Control. 👏💙💚
RDNO, for the time being, has kept us and our neighbours, on Evacuation Alert, pending BC Wildfire assessment.

Echo Lake Resort is open and welcoming our guests! Today's weather is much cooler, about 28° right now instead of the 35 heat yesterday 😅

We're thinking about friends and the communities facing Wildfire dangers and staying hopeful the fire fighting resources put those fires out soon!

This morning, brought to you by BC Wildfire Service and their swift, effective response to yesterday's spot fire west of the Resort. We are open, air quality is not affected, but we, and many of our neighbours are under a RDNO precautionary Alert, and will update more today via social media.
We suggest lake goers stay off the water or very close to shore so that the waterway remains available to the responders.

Well folks, we knew this was coming! As of this Friday July 12th at noon, we are under a Campfire ban. Do NOT bring wood with you to the resort, but you can still bring a Propane firepit or rent one from us.

August Cabin Alert!
Cabin 1 is available for Aug 5-9th.
Come and experience evenings in Cabin 1 where the evening sunlight on the water does a magic dance. Rest a chair on the dock and watch the sun go down, it’s the best place to be!
Cabin 1 is a one room cabin with a double bed at $155 per night + taxes (with 2-person occupancy). It has cold well water (filtered drinking water) at the sink, a propane stove, small fridge, and all basic cookware & dishes. Outside is a BBQ, picnic table, deck chairs, plus a private outhouse for those overnight trips.

Our campers Bruce & Donna showing everyone how it's done, thanks for sharing! They brought in this 18 lb Lake Trout down by the Osprey nest and it put up a huge fight which was thrilling although they thought they'd lost it several times.

This year we've seen larger Lake Trout & smaller Kokanee Salmon, so bring all your tackle or come and see us for the perfect rigs from Attitude Tackle to fish for both species.

Our boat fleet is waiting for your fishing & touring fun, add the electric trolling motor for the perfect speed.
Book online for half day or full day and guarantee your boat is there even on our busiest days this summer.

• July 21-25, Campsites 12 & C are open for 3 nights or more
• Last Week of July, Campsites 1, 2, 3, 12, & D are open for 3 nights or more

Catch the morning sunrise on Cabin 5’s beautiful new deck. Stay cozy with the woodstove (firewood is included). Bring your small fishing boat or non-motorized watercraft and enjoy a private dock to enjoy all that lake life has to offer. Or, rent one of our new fishing boats & watercraft to explore Echo Lake.

Cabin 5 is a two-bedroom cabin with queen bed and double bed with twin bunk above for 5 people at $165 per night plus taxes. Bring your dog & 2 more people can be added, additional fees apply.

We have exciting news! We’ve been selected as part of Destination BC’s Rainforest to Rockies Spark Program and have been awarded a grant & mentorship to develop our new tourism experience, “Pioneer Nights at Echo Lake Resort”. We’ll keep you posted on our progress and hope you’ll check out what Destination BC has been working on with the Iconics Routes which aim to bring more travellers to Super, Natural British Columbia and help them find the many wonderful detours, excursions, and experiences we offer as tourism providers.
