Have you seen the tidal bore? A tidal bore is a tide so strong that when it pushes against a river's current it actually reverses it! We have two tidal bore viewing spots close to the Joggins Fossil Cliffs! You can see the tidal bore at Heritage Models Museum and Maccan Tidal Bore! Follow them to learn daily tidal bore viewing times! Tidal bores happen about an hour before high tide, so after come see high tide at our viewing platform!
