Picture this: Once upon a time, Pirates & Privateers ruled these shores. Now, you can see what they saw, feel what they felt, and sail where they sailed. Hop aboard the Bayside Belle, Salty Dog's super comfy touring boat, and journey back to the heart of Nova Scotia. Here, the mist blankets the rugged coastline, and whispers of adventure linger in the salty air. Stories of pirates and privateers echo through time.

Back in the day, during the Golden Age of Piracy, these waters were teeming with notorious buccaneers flying their skull and crossbones flags. From hidden coves in Nova Scotia to busy Caribbean ports, they made history with their daring raids and bold thefts.

But not everyone was okay with their antics. Brave souls, called privateers, fought back against the pirates. They defended their homeland, battling the buccaneers on the high seas and taking back stolen treasure for king and country.

As time went on and privateering faded away, the legends of these daring adventurers stayed alive in Nova Scotian stories.
