Flipping into tour season with the NOSM students was a blast. Talk about an adventurous bunch. They had no fear and took the frigid plung into ice cold lake Topaz. Couldn't ask for a better evening on this Killarney-Baie Finne tour, we were blessed with an eagle sighting at Giizhkwebi Mnis, treated to pickerel at Herberts and the weather was absolutely amazing. Bring on adventure this summer. It's go time!

Ice update. We are still about a week away from ice out on the bay. To all my clients holding on patiently for ice out, we are getting there. Start booking your accommodations the last week of April to be on the safe side. Spring rainbows are just around the corner.

Tanks! Snowmaggedon threw a wrench in my double charter, so I had the chance to reel in some bricks of Doogaaning Gold. I've been amazed at the size of the perch being caught this year in Doogaaning. Mmmm family day fish fry coming up!
