We are pleased to announce that Calma Sailing is part of Sail Canada’s “Sailing for All” initiative.

This initiative was created to support grassroots programs in delivering sailing experiences to underserved and underrepresented communities and groups, at low or no cost to the participants. The program aims to establish and build partnerships at the local level between sailing schools and their local community through partnerships and opportunities to engage with new groups. The initiative was launched in December 2023 thanks to funding from the Sport Canada Community Sport for All Initiative and the Canadian Olympic Committee Return to Sport program.

Sail Canada is a leading international sailing nation, proud of its world class athletes, lifelong participants and inclusive culture. Sail Canada is pleased to announce that 15 member sailing clubs and schools from across the country have been awarded a combined total of $60,000 as part of Sail Canada’s “Sailing for All” initiative.
