Our parking area is a work in progress, but we are still open for visitors. There is an alternate driveway and lots of parking behind us. We hope to see you.

Anyone wanting to visit the museum today please use the lower driveway as we are getting some much needed repairs to our grounds.
Come get your last minute Giftshop items or quilt tickets. This is our last week of the season.

The museum will also be open from 8 - 11 for anyone that would like to pop over for last minute gift shop items, quilt tickets, a tour, or just to say hello.

Wonderful things happening at our community hall. Drop ins welcome. Starting in October.

Our community ladies used to frequently gather for quilting parties. These quilts were hand stitched, which made them uniquely beautiful. When done, they were often used for fundraisers. This particular party was held at the home of Pearl Foster.

Although there won't be any quilting, we will be gathering at the museum Tuesday morning at 10:30 for our monthly museum meeting. These meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend. Everyone is welcome.

We now have all three sizes of local honey back in stock. Giftshop is still open this week and next so come stock up.

Some days we see some pretty serious competitions here at the museum. Today's victory went to Toprak from Turkey.

We still have lots of gently used books. From now until the end of season they will be on sale 2 for $1. A great time to stock up on your reading material for winter.

Our blueberry take out tea was a huge success. Thank You to our incredible volunteers, to those who donated supplies, and to those who purchased luncheons.

Wallace Conrad is dressed in his boxing outfit and holding his trophy that he won in 1948.

The winner of last week's cash lotto draw was Barb Goulden. Tomorrow will be our last draw for this season. Good luck to all who have tickets.

Preserving history is so important for our future generations. The most recent book by Marlean (Taylor) Rhodenizer and Pat Rhodenizer on the history of Farmington and Scarsdale is on display at the museum and can be purchased from Marlean.

Countless hours of research and time went into this project. They did an amazing job. Thank you !!

Old photos are treasures that we love to share.
We have someone in the community who would love to bring her collection of photos for an afternoon here at the museum for anyone to come see.
Maybe you have some old pictures that you would like to bring along as well.
Anyone that may be interested just reach out to us and we will make it happen

Our Talents & Treasures Auction was a great success. Thank you all that participated for your support. Congratulations to Jack Wentzell who was this week's cash lotto winner. A reminder that our monthly meeting is Tuesday, August 20th at 10:30. All are welcome. Lots of goodies still available on the recycle shelf.
