At the 2021 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas, NV. Honda unveiled a concept aircraft named the HondaJet 2600. The concept would be a newer addition to their fleet, which would have an extended fuselage, faster cruise speed & carry more passengers. The aircraft would also travel a further distance than the HA-420 and most light jets available on the market.

With transcontinental range. The HondaJet 2600 is able to travel across the United States, up to approximately 2,625 nautical miles. This range is achieved with approximately 5 passengers, including pilot and crew. Overall, the aircraft is able to seat up to 11 passengers in a standard configuration.

The cabin dimensions on the 2600 measure approximately 5 ft 3" in height, 5 ft 1" in width and 14 ft 1" in length. As of now, it is looked at as one of the tallest cabins within the light jet category. Some also consider the aircraft to be partially in the mid-size category as well.

Moreover, you will notice 12 windows within the cabin area (6 on each side), to help provide natural and abundant light. The baggage compartment has also increased size in comparison to the original HondaJet, at a volume of 120 ft³.

Also

-The HondaJet 2600 is recognized as the world's first transcontinental light jet.
-The avionics planned to be implemented into the 2600 is the Garmin G3000 avionic suite.

So far in 2021, after gathering two quarters of shipment and delivery data. It appears as though business jet shipments and deliveries have been moving quite regularly, and as expected at this point, past the 6 month mark. As per the updated General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) report for September 1st 2021. It looks as though the number of business jets that were delivered so far in 2021 is approximately 264. As for turboprops (single & multi-engine), there are around 221 that were shipped and delivered up to now in 2021.

While the market had about a 20% drop overall in 2020, it looks as though 2021 might be looking better, based on the numbers we are seeing from Q1 & Q2 to this day.

Below you will find a quick overview discussing the 5 best selling private jets (or aircraft families / series) in the first half of 2021:
