Get ready for Ontario’s free Family Fishing Weekend, February 15 to 17! It’s the perfect time to reel in some fun with your loved ones — and no need to buy a fishing licence!

Remember when fishing during a free fishing period you must:
• follow conservation licence catch limits
• obey size limits and sanctuaries
• follow the fishing regulations
• carry ID showing your name and date of birth

This year's theme for Intl. Women Week is Inspire Inclusion.

It calls for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face, both in personal and professional spheres.

So, together, let's Accelerate Action to speed up the rate of progress worldwide.

The official ribbon cutting will be held at 2pm, March 5th at Caressant Care Retirement Home in Marmora with our Mayor Jan O’Neill .

Everyone is welcome to join.

Then mark those calendars! The annual Women In Wellness Marmora Expo is on March 8th, (on Intl. Womens Day) from 11 to 5 pm, Come join us at the Marmora Community Hall.

The Municipal Facility Rental Survey has been live for a week! A huge thank you to everyone who has already participated. 🥰 For those who haven’t, there is still one week to go! Please set aside a few minutes to complete it - your feedback is so important!

You can complete the survey online or on paper. 📄 Hardcopies are available at Town Hall (12 Bursthall Street, Marmora) and the Marmora Public Library (37 Forsyth Street, Marmora). Completed hardcopies can be submitted at Town Hall and the Library during business hours, or after-hours in the drop box located at Town Hall.

Same great program every Friday, 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, for children ages 0-6. No registration required, and parking is available on-site.
