Gratitude and Farewell
It is with bittersweet feelings that we announce the closing of Belcast Cottages General Store. Over the past 8 years, we grew very close to many of our loyal customers, knowing their ice cream orders before they reached the counter, and anticipating the arrival times of certain customers for their ice cream fix. We will deeply miss the memories, sharing laughs, fishing stories, and overall the company that filled our summers.
As we move into a new chapter, Sabe and Cindy are looking forward to retirement, where they plan to enjoy the beautiful shores of Baptiste Lake and more. We want to thank everyone who supported us from the bottom of our hearts. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Belcast Cottages will continue renting out cottages with improvements expected over the next few years. We encourage everyone to support local businesses and hope everyone continues their boat rides for ice cream down to the Baptiste Lake Marina to enjoy that delicious Kawartha Dairy we've all grown to love.
