Just spent a week in Tulum where I achieved perfect harmony with nature by doing yoga on the beach at sunrise... until I face-planted in the sand trying to hold a warrior pose while a seagull stole my breakfast burrito. Climbed the Mayan ruins feeling like Indiana Jones, but looked more like a sweaty tourist desperately searching for shade while accidentally photobombing 37 influencers' perfect shots. The ancient Mayans built incredible structures that have lasted centuries - meanwhile, I couldn't even build a decent sandcastle without it collapsing. Turns out "becoming one with the elements" means my hair is now 90% salt, my skin is 80% sunburn, and my Instagram feed is 100% jealousy-inducing. Worth it for those cenote swims where I convinced everyone I was gracefully exploring ancient Mayan waters (reality: frantically doggy-paddling while trying not to swallow bat guano).

Three Generations Take Fort Walton Beach By Storm!
When your family spans three generations and everyone has opinions about vacation planning, you either need a miracle or a really good travel agent. Fortunately, we had the latter! 😂
Fort Walton Beach has officially survived the Moore family takeover! Grandma insisted on sunrise walks, Dad wouldn't stop talking about that fishing charter, Mom finally got her beach nap without someone needing a snack every 5 minutes, and the granddaughter discovered that sand belongs EVERYWHERE except the beach.
Highlights included:

Grandpa learning what a "beach flex" is and attempting to make TikToks (we're still recovering)
Mom discovering that sunscreen application is indeed a full-time job
The granddaughter building a sand castle empire that lasted exactly 3.5 minutes before the tide had other plans
Dad's "shortcut" to the seafood restaurant that added an extra mile to our walk

Three generations, seven days, countless memories, and only ONE family dispute about where to eat dinner. We're calling that a vacation victory!
Already planning next year's adventure, but first we need to get all the sand out of our suitcases... and ears... and somehow the butter container?
