Happy Winter Solstice - we are officially winter tonight.

I love all the seasons, although winter seems magical as the snow glistens, foot steps are heard in a crispy sound across the landscape, the trees support us in a comforting way (hide food sources for some) and wildlife scurries across the forest floor. When we observe and listen we can see where they are going or where they’ve come from and most possibly spot them in action.

Tracking is a fun activity that I love more this time of year as I connect with wildlife/birds and love exploring the signs left for us to discover.

Be sure to join me in the new year as we uncover the magic of the winter season.

Yesterday was Women’s Entrepreneur Day in Canada and I wanted to celebrate all women in business whom I’ve met over the last two years who have inspired, empowered and guided me towards my personal goals.

As we approach the winter season I hope you continue to get outside and explore as we have beauty each and every season in the Atlantic Region.

We just need to prepare a little more in advance by having more clothes in the car to add once you get to your destination (I say this because sometimes I get to the coast and it’s a lot cooler so an additional layer in required). Each season brings its own unique beauty and is right on our doorstep to explore.
