It sounds like an exciting project! "Canadian Tiger" seems to draw inspiration from the captivating real-life events of Mark Drysdale, Canada's own version of the "Tiger King." Jeff Mallysh's role as the SWAT team captain adds to the anticipation, especially given his strong performances in previous films like Fight! (2018) and Cry of Silence (2024).

Thank you to all in attendance who supported all of us artists for Night of Art 2024. A truly beautiful night of celebrating Niagara’s soul, the art community. I’m so very proud of our local artists for having such talent and such courage to see their creations through, to be displayed for people to admire and unquestionably feel inspired by. A very special night for Main st. and for the hopes of this night becoming bigger and better in the years to come.
In saying this, we as a community need to keep supporting and helping each other to make that happen. The arts as a whole is in a fragile state. A lot of things are happening around us that really hurt what real humans can create and bring to the very real table that is real life. I’ve seen that there are plans to turn this into a “music city”. This should be a priority. The music scene has really gone quiet around here, especially compared to when I fell on it years ago. We need our council to have a strong presence on these Nights of Art, to let people know how great it is to be a part of a city, community, region with SO f’n much to offer. We need our council to encourage people to keep coming back with a promise that it’s going to get bigger and better! Musicians, artists, friends, keep these things on your radar, please. That’s the biggest thanks any Niagara artist can get. Let’s put Niagara artists on the map!

"The Phoenix" is an official selection of the Night of Art at the Niagara Falls Exchange tonight from 6 PM to 10 PM. The Phoenix will be playing in the BYOTA Exhibition at the – Museum Courtyard. Thursday, Sept 19, 2024 at 7 PM.
THE PHOENIX was directed by Kenneth Gerard & written/co-directed by Ahmad Marouf.
"The Phoenix" is based on a True Story on the Life of Jackie Putnam who's Leap of Faith garnered her album "The Phoenix" Female Album of the Year! " at the ISSA 2024 International.
Kenneth Gerard will at the screening for a Q&A after the showing.
THE PHOENIX directed by Kenneth Gerard & co-directed by Ahmad Marouf plays the big screen in Northern California on October 31, 2024 at The Chico Independent Film Festival 2024.
The Phoenix always rises from the ashes, doesn't it? Maybe, just maybe, Jackie may come back stronger if she finally lets it consume her. Maybe she's like the Phoenix too with "Jackie's Leap of Faith"
