Since we have a number of new faces around here, we thought to introduce ourselves! We would like to thank you for your incredible support and being a part of this amazing journey! It means a lot to us!

We are your superhosts, Jelena and Nedim. We both manage Kabinhaus by ourselves remotely. Jelena takes care of the communication with guests, social media marketing, and instagram collaborators while Nedim takes care of maintenance and is managing the technology!

We personally curated this space to share unique lifestyle and experience to help unlock one's truest potential and live a more fulfilling life, by disconnecting to reconnect in the nature. Jelena got into interiors as a hobby. Her obsession with Scandinavian-inspired, loves to keep everything at minimalist with the items that have a true meaning and a purpose of it. Nedim comes from the architecture education/background and his hobby as carpentry thanks to his connections.

We travelled to Iceland years ago and fell in love with scandinavian cabins! So glad we found a Chic Shack community, and it came all out naturally when we first booked a cabin there. We never felt so relaxed and inspired and we became truly connected to the nature. We never thought a million years that we would sign up for short term rental. We felt to invest in one there and we did it! Kabinhaus was born in late 2019! No regrets!

We are both deaf and we have obtained Cochlear Implant devices that have made us successful to hear and speak. We believe these obstacles can overcome with tenacity and determination.

We love to travel around the world and explore the places that we never been. We get to discover new places, try different cuisines, engage in exciting activities, and create enjoyable memories! We paused our travelling for 3 years due to COVID and we can’t wait to travel again with our little one!
