💬"My story with ToundriGo is one of return. I worked for Toundra, our FIT brand, in the Reservations Department between 2019 and 2020, then the Covid pandemic arrived... I had the opportunity to make my comeback in November 2023 with the feeling of never having left! Of course, a lot of things have changed, but I have the same energy to keep moving forward and help everyone to flourish. In my day-to-day work, I like the variety of tasks and the relationship aspect with suppliers, since one of my roles is to enrich our catalog of experiences for our travellers.

Originally from the Paris region, I'm lucky enough to have parents who are crazy about travel and specifically the United States. I think I was 14 the first time I discovered the American West and its parks, and those are still my fondest travel memories. I've had the pleasure of going back several times and it's still magical. It made sense for me to make North America my home in 2018 and join the tourism industry.

It's often said that this is an industry of enthusiasts and travelers. ToundriGo is no exception to the rule, and neither am I. After my studies, I flew off to New Zealand for a WHV, and then travelled to Australia, Japan and the USA."

💬"My role at ToundriGo? I'm in charge of marketing coordination for our B2C Parcours brand, which now has two destinations: Canada and the USA. My mission is to boost brand awareness so that we can be trusted by the general public. To this end, I manage all Parcours' communications channels and think about all the partnerships we can set up.

My Montreal adventure began in September 2023, ready to try my hand in the private sector after 5 years in public sector marketing. I wanted to find a job where I could measure my impact with R.O.I., see what I could bring to a business. Working for Parcours was the jackpot for me, and I really wanted the job!

At ToundriGo, I'm challenged on a daily basis and I'm lucky enough to be able to promote the USA, which I adore. Since I was 17, I've had the opportunity to visit North Carolina and a large part of the East Coast. Working in the tourism industry means rubbing shoulders with passionate people, getting inspired, and always wanting to help our travelers discover nuggets!"

💬"What's my day-to-day job at ToundriGo? Training newcomers, advising and guiding sales staff, both on business practices and on the destination USA, which I know well. If we rewind a bit, there's one trip in particular that was the trigger for what I wanted to do professionally. For my 18th birthday, my family gave me a summer camp tour from New York to Los Angeles. It was decided: I wanted to work in a travel agency specializing in the United States!

For the record, I came to do my Master's internship in Tourism Project Management at Toundra, 5 months in Purchasing, in 2018. When I had the opportunity to move abroad and join the team permanently in 2022, I jumped at the chance.

I love my job and I know that there aren't 10,000 agencies selling the USA, so I'm happy to have succeeded in achieving my goal and to be fulfilled at Toundra. What thrills me is driving my teams and passing on skills and sales techniques. At the start, the girls weren't salespeople at all, and I'm very proud to have guided them to become one. It's very gratifying!

They do a great job and we've even become close outside the office. The good atmosphere, the closeness and the kindness are really the ToundriGo signature”

💬"My story with ToundriGo is the story of my arrival as a travel agent at Parcours Canada, the group's B2C brand. One of its strengths? Being a small brand in a big company, maintaining our local identity and pampering our customers. I love my job!

My background is in the environment and scientific culture. I worked for 6 years in a Natural History Museum and for the LPO (League for the Protection of Birds). I've retained a strong attachment to the environmental cause and that's what prompted me to apply here, then join the ToundrigoCare committee working to obtain our Travelife eco-responsible certification.

My first steps here were a real change of direction professionally and a choice of the heart... Indeed, I've had the opportunity to travel quite a bit, but it was this solo road trip across Quebec in 2022 that finally convinced me to move to Montreal.

Today, I enjoy getting up in the morning to work with an incredibly close-knit team. I'm always in awe of the solidarity and goodwill that prevails in our agency. Expatriation is something that connects us to each other, we evolve with a professional but also personal transversality. 💬"At ToundriGo, internal mobility counts, and I'm proof of that. I started at the agency for my end-of-studies internship at Receptour, attracted by Canada and the opportunity. After a 6-month internship, I stayed on for 1 year as Operations Coordinator, and now I'm Operations Manager!

What do I like most about my job? The variety of daily missions and challenges. As well as the mutual support and cross-functionality that are strong values in all ToundriGo brands.

My career path has been punctuated by travel, my passion since childhood. I studied commerce and tourism for 5 years. Commerce to have a business vision and tourism to specialize in the field I liked. I was lucky enough to have several very enriching Erasmus experiences. I went to Greece and Finland, it was magical!

It's the adventure side of travel that I like best. And what thrills me most is observing animals up close and personal, anywhere in the world. I had the opportunity to go on safari in South Africa, and it was an unforgettable experience. As was my recent road-trip by camper van to Vancouver Island, accompanied by my sidekick Léna, a colleague and close friend. That's what ToundriGo is all about: beautiful friendships."

💬"“After spending 4 months in Montreal as an exchange student in 2019, I always knew I'd come back! It's been a reality since February 2022, when I joined Think Incentive, ToundriGo's corporate travel division, for my Master's graduation internship. After a few months, Patricia, one of the two co-directors, offered me a permanent position as Project Manager. I happily accepted and continued my adventure within the agency, surrounded by people who have become true friends!

Despite my Italian origins, it was English-speaking culture that drew my attention, as I went on to study for a degree in English, followed by a Masters in Culture and Tourism, specializing in English-speaking Worlds. My career path? Quite varied! I worked in an amusement park, then in a castle near my home in France, before settling in Quebec.

I've always loved traveling and have had the opportunity to move around quite a bit in my life. I love the feeling of freedom I get, which is quite a change from my job, where you must control everything 100% to make sure that your customers' stays go off without a hitch. I work on the Latin market with Patricia. Together, we manage customer relations, quotations, program creation and all the operational aspects of our groups from the four corners of the globe".

💬"What do I like about ToundriGo? The taste for adventure and travel that all employees possess, as well as the opportunity to work in a sector that I really enjoy.

From an early age, I was used to traveling and changing environments. I was born in Côte d'Ivoire, grew up in France on the Côte d'Azur and had the chance to live just about everywhere thanks to my studies. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing, I had the opportunity to spend my final year of international business school in China. Despite Covid, this experience left a lasting impression on me and remains, to this day, the best of my life!

I quickly realized that my passion for travel would guide my choice to apply my professional skills to tourism. With my diploma in hand, I worked in the luxury hotel industry as a receptionist, night auditor and assistant manager. This allowed me to prepare for my expatriation to Canada, a project close to my heart.

💬 "It all started in February 2023 with a five-month internship at Windigo Aventures, one of Toundrigo's brands. Encouraged by my professional network, I wanted to continue my involvement in adventure tourism while finishing my Master's degree abroad.

Mission accomplished!
Here I am, a graduate and a contract member of the operations team at Receptour Canada. I occasionally miss my internship's Quebec accent and expressions, but my integration into my new work team has been a success. Since my internship was an excellent experience overall, the question of extending my stay and joining the group long-term quickly became imperative.

I believe that group travel, as developed by my team, is the best way of doing international tourism for ecological, economic and social reasons. It's a place for encounters, exchanges and memories. It's one of the reasons I get out of bed in the morning!

Working at Toundrigo is an excellent compromise for combining interesting missions, career opportunities and a good working atmosphere that extends into an enjoyable company life".

💬 "My life philosophy? Work hard, play hard.

I started tour guiding in 2013 on the Canadian West Coast with small-group travelers. When Covid hit, many companies I used to work with closed their doors, but I was still not ready to give up on guiding, so I decided to start my own company with my friend. This was an excellent opportunity to learn everything that happens as a tour guide. I got to experience being a CEO, but it was very stressful. Because of that, at the end of last season, we decided to finish on a high. I knew Windigo had always been our competitor when directing our company, so I decided to reach up to Charles, Windigo’s Director. Now I’m here, working as an operations Manager!

I had known about Windigo during my guiding career, so it was a great chance to join the team. Working at Windigo is an excellent opportunity because I feel like I am bringing a lot of information from my previous career while also learning about everything on Windigo. Travel is, to me, a perfect way to connect with people in general.

I love working for Toundrigo, because when even though I do not guide anymore, it is great to still be able to be part of it with Windigo.

💬 « I found this job randomly, but it was meant to be.”

I am half Canadian and half Mexican. I grew up in a multicultural environment that allowed me to learn several languages and made me automatically attracted to the tourism industry. Before starting to work at Toundrigo, I used to work as a guide in touristic and microbrewery tours in Canada with Spanish and English speakers for 8 years. Meantime, I used to work in an international cooperation that collects unused bicycles in Montréal to ship them to Africa, Central America and the Caribbean. These experiences made me travel a lot and allowed me to be completely self-made on the travel industry.

The pandemics forced me to quit my job as a guide and to find another job, but quickly enough, I had the urge to go back to the tourism industry. However, I needed a more stable and safer job. During my working time as a guide, I heard a lot of positive comments about Receptour and more globally about the Toundrigo family. Moreover, I was charmed by this company that keeps evolving every day and offers such sustainable and eco-friendly travel tours.

Because of this, it was an obvious choice for me to become an operations supervisor at Receptour ! Today, I am fulfilled thanks to this job!

💬 "My job is to create unique experiences in order to get closer to my clients’ dreams of freedom"

When I graduated in 2012, I was attracted to the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) sector, which is the type of tourism where large groups organize events to reward their employees or thank their clients. So, I was interested in a career in this sector first in France, and then by moving to Quebec in 2015.

In 2016, I joined the Think Incentive team, as a Project Manager. I worked there for a year before being forced to leave the territory due to problems with my VISA. In 2018, Régis, the former General Manager contacted me again to tell me that a position was opening and offered me to take over the co-direction of the Think Incentive department alongside Patricia, who oversees the Latin markets. So, I was happy to make my comeback at Toundrigo, but this time as co-director!

The Toundrigo group is a great showcase and one of the leaders in the Canada-US destination with beautiful brands that each have their own identity, while being a small family that is very united.

Think Incentive is today one of the references for incentive travel in Canada and the USA, and this guarantee of quality makes me proud to be the co-director!

Quand j’ai été diplômée en 2012, j’ai directement été attirée par le secteur du MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), ce qui correspond au type de tourisme où de grands groupes organisent des évènements pour récompenser leurs employés ou remercier leurs clients. Je me suis donc tournée vers un parcours dans ce secteur d’abord en France, et par la suite en arrivant vivre au Québec, en 2015.

En 2016, j’ai intégré l’équipe de Think Incentive en tant que Chargée de projet où je suis restée travailler pendant un an, avant d’être contrainte de quitter le territoire à cause de problèmes avec mon VISA. En 2018, Régis, l’ancien directeur général m’a recontactée pour m’annoncer qu’un poste se libérait et me proposer de reprendre la co-direction du département Think Incentive aux côtés de Patricia, qui elle est chargée des marchés latins. J’ai donc eu la chance de faire mon come-back Toundrigo mais cette fois-ci en tant que co-directrice !

Le groupe Toundrigo, c’est une belle vitrine et un des leaders des réceptifs sur la destination Canada-USA avec de belles marques qui ont chacune leur propre identité, tout en étant une belle famille très unie.

Think Incentive est aujourd’hui une des références sur les voyages Incentive au Canada et USA, et ce gage de qualité me rend fière d’en être la co-directrice !

💬 "What I like about Toundrigo is that even if you don't necessarily have experience, everyone around you will be willing to help you.

After 2 years of a Bachelor's degree in Eco-Management in Brest, I had the desire to do an exchange year in Montreal between September 2021 and May 2022. During this exchange, I fell in love with this city, and I decided that I didn't want to go back to France! Therefore I enrolled in a master's degree in management sciences at ESG of UQAM where I am currently pursuing my studies.

In parallel to my studies, I wanted to find a job where I could put into practice all the theory I had learned during my bachelor. So, I saw a job offer for an accountant position at Toundrigo on Indeed, I applied, and I was lucky enough to be contacted 3 days later. I was hired as a part-time employee. It was perfect because it allows me to continue my studies while really applying the concepts, I've seen in class while learning much faster when I’m working here.

I think the opportunity I had to work at Toundrigo, would never have happened in France because no company would have trusted me without me having finished my studies. So, thank you very much Toundrigo!

Après 2 ans de baccalauréat d’éco-gestion à Brest, j’ai eu l’envie de réaliser un échange à Montréal entre Septembre 2021 et Mai 2022. Durant cet échange, je suis tombée amoureuse de cette ville et j’ai décidé que je ne voulais plus rentrer en France ! Je me suis donc inscrite en Maîtrise de Sciences de la gestion à l’ESG de l’UQAM où je poursuis mon cursus en ce moment.

En parallèle de mes études, j’ai souhaité me trouver un travail où je pourrais mettre en pratique toute la théorie que j’avais vue pendant mes 3 années de baccalauréat. J’ai donc vu une offre d’emploi pour un poste de comptable chez Toundrigo sur Indeed, j’ai postulé et j’ai eu la chance d’être recontactée 3 jours plus t**d. J’ai été engagée à temps partiel, et cela me permet de continuer mes études tout en appliquant réellement les concepts vus en cours et en me formant beaucoup plus vite quand je viens travailler.

Je pense que l’opportunité que j’ai eue de travailler chez Toundrigo, je ne l’aurais jamais eue en France car aucune entreprise ne m’aurait fait confiance sans que j’aie fini mes études, alors merci beaucoup Toundrigo !

I've always been passionate about the travel industry. Indeed, after a Tourism diploma in Paris, I had the opportunity to work for Air France in Los Angeles. Then I worked in a youth hostel in Paris, before deciding to come live here in Montreal 6 years ago. In January 2017, I joined Toundra where I was able to work with the sales team, before moving on to sales supervisor and then purchasing manager for the United States.

In 2021, the pandemic forced me to leave Toundrigo and started working as a Sales Coordinator. After working 3 jobs in one year, I was missing the atmosphere I had experienced at Toundrigo. Marie, the director of Toundra, contacted me again to offer me the position of Training Manager which was specifically created for me. This job gave me the total freedom to create new training courses while helping employees to have a better vision of their job.

Working at Toundrigo gives me the opportunity to work in the industry of tourism alongside passionate people in a great atmosphere, so thank you Toundrigo!

J’ai toujours été passionné par le monde du voyage. En effet, après un BTS Tourisme à Paris, j’ai eu l’occasion de travailler pour Air France à Los Angeles, puis dans une auberge de jeunesse à Paris, avant de décider de venir vivre ici à Montréal il y’a déjà 6 ans. En Janvier 2017, j’ai donc rejoint Toundra où j’ai pu intégrer l’équipe de ventes, avant de passer superviseur des ventes puis responsable des achats des États-Unis.

En 2021, la pandémie m’a contraint à quitter Toundrigo et j’ai donc commencé à travailler en tant que Coordinateur des ventes. Après avoir enchaîné 3 jobs en l’espace d’un an, l’ambiance que j’avais vécue chez Toundrigo me manquait. Marie, la directrice de Toundra, m’a alors recontacté pour me proposer le poste de Responsable Formations créé spécialement pour moi. Ce poste me donne la liberté de proposer de nouvelles formations en apportant mon savoir-faire à mes collaborateurs pour qu’ils aient la meilleure vision de leur métier.

Travailler chez Toundrigo me permet d’exercer mon métier dans mon secteur d’activité, le tourisme aux côtés de gens passionnés dans une bonne ambiance, alors merci Toundrigo !

💬 "My story is one of two passions: travel and marketing!

Why these two?

Simply because they involve listening and understanding people around you!

I began my professional journey working for several tourism players in France and Belgium, including Thalys, Air France, La Compagnie and Veepee.

After 5 years, I decided to escape Paris, and moved to Canada!

There, I met Jean-Christophe, Charles, Regis, Marie, Josiane and all the ToundriGo team, preparing for the end of the covid crisis.

After this quick interview, I joined the team a few days later, in June 2021.

Today, I work with great colleagues in a company with listening skills, so bravo Toundrigo! "

Incroyable mais vrai, en à peine quelques jours je rejoignais l'équipe, en juin 2021.

Aujourd'hui, je travaille avec des collègues formidables au sein d'une entreprise à l'écoute, alors bravo Toundrigo! "
