About Us:
Spade & Palacio is a collaboration of two born and raised, young Montrealers who are passionate about our city and love to show it. We originally met during our guiding classes and bonded over a shared interest and intention of having our visitors walk away with a day in the life of a local experience. Three years later we decided to take matters into our own hands and the company was bo

rn. It’s simple; we take our guests away from the mains, our tours are non-touristy. We want to showcase unknown parts while promoting local, young and women entrepreneurs on our walking food tours and your local guide’s favorite parts of town on our bike tours. Unlike other companies, we guarantee intimate groups of 10 or less. You aren’t sheep we herd around town, you’re our guests and we keep it human scale, we keep it real.

Apparently only a very small amount of Canadian businesses make it to 10 years. It’s been tough at times, to say the least. There’s always “something”. With a closed border for two years it was locals that kept us afloat et pour ça un énorme MERCI MONTRÉAL.

There have been a fair share of battles, sneaky attacks and shady happenings. Apparently when you’re having fun not everyone likes to see it or they want to take a piece of it from you.

We didn’t reinvent the wheel, we just made her roll our style. We’re just a group of beautiful Montréal tour guides who are madly in love with our city and want to share that love with our guests. “How easy is it for us to move here” is music to our ears.

I’m always been a foodie at heart yet I had never been on a food tour until @spadeandpalacio yesterday . With them, I got to discover what happened to be some of the best food spots in my very own neighborhood that I’ve been passing by leaving them unnoticed for the last 3 years I lived here, only to learn they have delicious food and a beautiful story behind how they came about. We did over 7 stops and had a meal, a bite or a drink each time from cuisines coming from different cultures and the best part for me was the salavdorian pupusas at my local pupuseria that was founded by a badass salvadorian lady over 20 years ago and is still a running family business. For my friends visiting from abroad or even living in Montréal and who want to try a new fun activity—> @spadeandpalacio are highly recommended #FoodTours #Foodies #DiscoverMontreal #mtlmoments #beyondthemarket
