Hey guys! It's been a while but I have just revamped and revived my baking blog! I started this journey over 10 years ago when I first started attending pastry school in Montreal. It was a way for me to practice and try new techniques and recipes, while also dabbling in food styling and photography.
I sadly neglected my little blog and focused on being a wedding cake designer while working a full-time job. Not easy! I needed a break! I feel like my passion is starting to return and I decided it was high time to share my love of baking. My favourite desserts will always be simple no-fuss recipes to do over the weekend and share with loved ones.

Dear friends,
You may have noticed that it has been a little quiet on my page as of late. I have been working on some other work projects and have taken a bit of a break from Bites of Sweetness. As my design style has been changing, I am looking more towards using natural elements to decorate my desserts instead of sugar work. However, I do still have some flowers and other pieces from previous projects and I am offering a sort of Mix n' Match sale if you will. For $15 I will create a bouquet cake topper with about a third of the pieces in this picture. You can use it to decorate a plain cake purchased at a grocery store or order a small cake from me. One of the most important cakes I have ever made, for my best friend's wedding! Custom-made owl toppers and fresh garden peonies *swoon*
Top tier is chocolate cake with chocolate chip cookie dough icing and bottom tier spiced apple cake with caramel drizzle buttercream and crumble topping. 😍🍰
