JIC - John Molson International Committee If you're an international traveler, you've come to the right place.

The John Molson International Exchange Committee is a student run organization that has two objectives. First, we help JMSB students achieve their ambitions of studying abroad. Secondly, for incoming international students, we ensure smooth transitions to Concordia University and opportunities to experience true North American culture. In organizing networking events, a bridge between internationa

l and domestic students is created,allowing individuals to exchange ideas and build relationships resulting in more well rounded and open minded students.

JIC is happy to announce our last event of this semester with a trip to the beautiful city of Ottawa. From the iconic Parliament Hill to the bustling ByWard Market, we're diving into a whirlwind of maple-scented adventures.

In honour of Black History Month, JIC is partnering with a different association each week to have a movie night every Thursday at 6pm. 🎬

Join us on a cinematic journey that honours the rich tapestry of African-American history, culture and resilience. With a new movie each week, you have the chance to see different stories while meeting some new friends! Snacks will be provided as well. 🎥🍿

Are you new to the island of Montreal? JIC is inviting you to come with us on a tour of Montreal to introduce you to our beautiful city!

On January 28th, you can join us on tour led by our team around the city where you’ll discover some hidden gems and iconic locations. We’ll also play a fun game of mini-golf, explore the Barbie expo, and visit the Old Port.

This a great opportunity to meet others that are also new to the city and ask any questions you may have about what living in Montreal is like. You even have the chance to win some exciting prizes with your team.

We are collaborating with SASA, ASAC, and PSA to showcase our school’s diversity and to give students a chance to learn more about what these associations do throughout the year. As a tutor, you will:
✨Teach other students the basics of the language to uphold a conversation.
✨Get a crash course on how to tutor and build a curriculum.

What is Project Global?
Project Global is a twenty-day collaboration with an international university with a total of 40 participants.
For the first ten days, JMSB participants will visit the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland where students from the partner school will be our hosts for ten days. In the second portion of the trip, students from Switzerland will come to Montreal where JMSB participants will be their tour guides and show what our city has to offer.

Additional information is included in the application form! The deadline to apply is December 26th, 2023.
