Have you ever been in this situation? You’re planning a trip, you know where you want to go, and in order to find the best deals on accommodation, you have multiple tabs open. Copying and pasting addresses, comparing hotel deals and locations. Google maps. Booking sites. Hotel aggregators. What a mess! This is the kind of runt Stay22 co-founder and CPO, Hamed Al-Khabaz found himself in when planning to attend an out of town e-sports tournament. Frustrated and annoyed, he thought there had to a there had to be a better solution, and as he sat ruminating about his booking experience, the light bulb went on in his head. Ding! And that’s how Stay22 was born.
What if a single map could show all accommodations near to your destination for the cheapest prices? What if booking a place to stay could be simple, stress-free and done all in one place? What if all this could be done on the event/booking website? This idyllic experience didn’t have to be a fantasy. Stay22 could offer a solution. Upon bringing his idea to light, in 2016, Hamed partnered with co-founder and CEO Andrew Lockhead to show this vision to the event industry. In October 2017, Stay22 hit its big break. Acquiring an exclusive partnership with Airnbnb, the map could display hotels and Airbnb’s side by side. Now users really could compare all accommodation options in one place!
Since then, the Stay22 family has grown, expanded to the travel industry and around the globe. However, despite these changes, our core mission has remained the same: to improve user experience when searching for accommodations. And to think all this started from one bad booking experience!

Après avoir développé son idée, Hamed s'est associé avec Andrew Lockhead qui pris le rôle de co fondateur et PDG afin de présenter leur vision à l'industrie évènementielle.
