The calendar page has flipped to the boo-ti- ful month of October and the “Widow Elizabeth” will be out and about during the month doing what she likes to do best - raising funds for charity!

The first event will be at Copper Bottom Brewing on October 26th where a fundraising for the Garden Gulf of Museum is being held. This is the second year for this wildly successful event where local storytellers (including the Widow Elizabeth) come together to tell “lore” of the area (or is it?). Be sure to buy your ticket in advance as soon as you see it advertised!

The second event is at the “OG Catering House” in Murray River on October 27 where the Widow Elizabeth will take diners on an “eerie” walk through the Village of Murray River and share a few tales of the area! If the weather doesn’t co-operate, the widow will take to “the well worn boards” of the historic “Old General Store” and spin her web of tales! The “OG” has an amazing evening planned so check out the poster below as capacity is 20 and will sell out FAST! The Widow Elizabeth will be donating her “shillings” from this AMAZING event to to SKC Breakfast Program!

Finally on Saturday, October 28th, “Eerie We Arr” will be hosting 2 walks through the historic Village of Murray Harbour with all proceeds going to the SKC Breakfast Program. The walks will be held at 7PM and 9PM and if the weather doesn’t co-operate, the walks will become a “circle” in a 100+ year old barn in the area. Cost is $10 per person and each walk has a maximum capacity of 20 people! Stay tuned for the “official” poster but please remember - both walks sold out quickly last year!

So as you can see October will be a “spoo-tac-u-lar” time!

so as soon

With another year in the books, we are doing some revamping, rethinking and reviewing of our offerings at Historical Tours. Bugs are always an issue which we are working on ……but OTHER than bugs any ideas?

By the way, Elizabeth from “Ghost Tales” will telling a tale at the Copper Bottom on October 26th as a fundraiser for the Garden of the Gulf Museum.

On October 28th, Elizabeth will be hosting two “Ghostly Walks” through the Village at 7PM and 9PM as a fundraiser for the Breakfast Program at Southern Kings Consolidated. If you are interested in purchasing tickets for this event, please contact us as we were sold out last year. Tickets are $10 each and space is limited to 20 persons per tour. If the weather isn’t great, it will become an inside event!

Please feel free to share!
