The lifts will stop spinning for the winter season on April 7th, 2024 at Mount Washington Alpine Resort at 3:30 pm. Make sure you use up all the wax on your skis and boards before then. Let us get your there and back. No hassle - just fun on the slopes.

Per the Mount Washington website: The mountain got 20cm overnight and the snow is still falling heavy! The roads are snow-covered this morning as the snow continues to fall.

-Our Ski Bus is Running- Posted on the Mount Washington Website:
Mount Washington will reopen with minimal terrain today, Friday, February 2nd. The Whiskey Jack Chair and Carpets are planned to operate, as well as some trails for snowshoeing from Raven Lodge. Ticket pricing is reduced to $69 for adult, $59 for youth, senior, and $39 for child and available at the ticket windows only. The morning Alpine and Nordic grooming reports will provide details about open terrain. Please stay on the groomed runs to avoid off-piste hazards.

Announcement from the Wilson Family - Please note the change in the location of the service:

it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of W.D. Kello Wilson. Kello passed away the morning of Saturday December 30 at the age of 92. Nothing meant more to Kello than his family. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 66 years Mary, his three children Robert, Elizabeth and John (Valerie), his 5 grandchildren Travis (Meaghan), Andrew (Brittany), Kelsey (Ryan), Samantha (Taylor) and Sophia, as well as his 8 great grandchildren Cameron, Brooklyn, Madilyn, John James, Davis, Henley, Brooks and Emilia.

The Wilson Family will be hosting a service for Kello, the beloved husband, father grandfather and local business and community leader, on Saturday, January 13th, 2024, at noon. Location: Sacred Heart Catholic Church – 4040 Nelthorpe Street, Victoria. Reception to follow in Sacred Heart Hall directly below the church. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. The service will also be livestreamed at www.tinyurl.com/KelloWilson

As the founder of Wilson’s Transportation Ltd., Kello also leaves behind his legacy of being a respected businessman who cared about his community, dedicated staff, and his buses or “his babies” as he called them. A legacy that will continue through the 43-year-old business that remains family owned and operated today.
