Housekeeper to clean cottages for a cottage business in Cavendish/North Rustico area with 11 cottages.

Own Transportation/vehicle required. Not on the Shuttle route from Charlottetown.

Full time or part time available. Days and weekends, late May – early Oct.
Pay is $18-20 per hour if on payroll or $25-30 per hour you want to be as self employed
If on payroll to file for EI we will guarantee the 560 hours over 18 weeks for the zone outside of Charlottetown.
Bonus will be paid at end of season if no time is missed and no issues with quality of work.

Duties: Make beds, clean bathrooms, dispense toiletries, dust furniture. Clean windows, kitchens, floors. Collect trash daily. Clean pool chairs/playground benches/equipment. Laundry is not required but you may have help fold towels etc. Some other related duties as needed.

Job is demanding and you must be efficient to meet deadlines, must be physically fit to lift up to 15 lbs. Must be reliable and able to work as needed. Attention to detail is a must.

Experience cleaning cottages, hotel rooms or Airbnb's is preferred but we would consider training the right candidate.

You must be already living in PEI and legal to work in Canada and able to provide the legal documents. This is a seasonal position from late May thro early Oct each year so it doesn't qualify for us to sponsor foreign workers or help you get your citizenship so please don’t apply if you need that type of job

Don't let the weatherman/women fool you. Cavendish is usually drier than any other part of PEI.

For example it was suppose to rain all day today and so far at 6pm we've not seen a drop of rain yet

Friday is sunny and warm
Saturday is suppose to be cloudy but not so warm
Sunday we are expecting some rain but we won't really know till Saturday on how it all lines up. Ofcourse viewing the radar map on Sunday is the what will determine what we will get.

Always check the Cavendish weather because our weather is not the same as Charlottetown or even Summerside. The Weather Network seems to be more accurate than others.
