The impact Live Events has on the Alberta economy is incredible. During the COVID-19 pandemic, this industry has been decimated. Thousands of people out of work, hundreds of thousands of events canceled or postponed! This creates a ripple effect for the economy; hotels sit empty, restaurants lose patrons, sporting stadiums lose sales - everyone is affected.
