Both the American and Canadian Falls will shine in brilliant red, white, and blue tonight in tribute to the life and legacy of former President Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States. A champion of peace, humanitarian efforts, and environmental stewardship, Carter’s values resonate deeply on both sides of the border, exemplifying the strong Canada-U.S. friendship.

As the first American president to reach 100, Carter became the oldest living former president. Known for his dedication to peace, he spent his post-presidency years brokering international agreements and improving the world.

Let the Family Day fun begin! From butterflies to history to breathtaking views of Niagara Falls, there's something for all ages. 🦉 Stop by the Niagara Glen Nature Centre to meet the incredible birds of prey and more! The FREE Birding Open House begins at 10 AM and all are welcome. 🧪 Bring young scientists to the Butterfly Conservatory for a world of hands-on fun. Mad Science will be on-site from 10:30 AM–11 AM & 11:30 AM–12:30 PM. These dynamic workshops are included with admission and recommended for children 5+.

Niagara Parks’ lands and properties have played host to some of Canada’s most poignant stories of freedom and courage.
