Il tragitto più lungo mai registrato da un essere umano in bicicletta è stato compiuto da Heinz Stücke, un cicloturista tedesco che ha percorso oltre 600.000 chilometri in 51 anni, visitando 195 paesi e 78 territori.

Per quanto riguarda la distanza maggiore percorsa in un anno, l'americano Kurt Searvogel ha stabilito un record pedalando per 110.000 chilometri in 365 giorni.

Inoltre, nel ciclismo di montagna, il portoghese Tiago Ferreira ha ottenuto un record ufficiale percorrendo 581 chilometri in 24 ore.

Questi risultati mettono in evidenza la capacità umana di superare i limiti nel ciclismo, sia in viaggi prolungati, sfide annuali o prove di resistenza su periodi più brevi.

Three ride distances available. A short and sweet Guided History Tour and Winery Stops with lunch covering 24 km’s.

A medium 60 km Guided Tour with lunch and one optional Wine Stop for a bit more riding and time on two wheels. Then a popular and typical “grand Fondo” style all day 100 km route also with guides / leaders and lunch stop.

Fun times this past weekend in Collingwood at the Deloitte Partnership conference. NCT offered one of many afternoon activities for attendees and our 28km guided cycling tour included some fun team building activities and trivia contests.

Yes our services can stretch beyond Niagara where there is safe cycling infrastructure. Congrats to both Simcoe and Grey County for amazing forward thinking bicycle path planning and trail building with easy to navigate signage.
