I love this photo. Melissa Heaman is one of our newer instructors. She had a new kayak delivered here yesterday from Robert Vlug at Eastern Outdoors. Just look at the joy in her, she waited a long time for her pink Valley Etain. I think the wait was worth it. PS, I love the colour! 💗💖💕💓🌸

We had an awesome day on the bay yesterday. Went out to Red Rock Lighthouse, headed north up the Mink Island chain to avoid a thunder storm and did lots of swimming and kayaking.

This is snappy the turtle! She lives right where our boat is kept at Snug Harbour. Snapping turtles are Ontario’s largest turtle species, they can grow up to 30kgs! They can live for up to 50-75 years and don’t reach sexual maturity until 13-19 YO. I saw this female laying her eggs on a sandy beach close by. She likely laid 20-40 ping-pong sized eggs.
