Usually we love to show you the mountain views we are blessed with at PeaksNCreeks. Today the rain falling is truly another beautiful view. A miners cafe bowl of soup and a latte, followed by a nap in front of our cozy fireplace is the perfect unwind recipe on a day like this!

One winter fun thing to do at Peaks N Creeks is grab a hot chocolate and go for an evening wildlife tour. Todays long time residents were putting on a great show!

A short, 30 minute drive south west of PeaksNCreeks is a spectacular area called Kootenay Plains. The circle of ecological life is necessary for this beautiful area to exist. This grizzly bear photographed ,feeding on a deceased ungulate, is part of this amazing process!
Love to see the newborn fawns this time of year! They’re so cute untill …………..they make my pine trees their winter diet, lol!
The mountain birds at Peaks N Creeks are uniquely special! Loved to see this Pine Grossbeak this morning, especially after an overnight period of rain!
The fireplace at peaks and creeks is even more cozy to curl up to when it’s -30’s outside!
