Welcome 2025. May it be a magical year for us all. ✨️

Wow 2024 was quite the year for me travel and work wise. I visited so many new and exciting places and revisited many of my usual favourites.

I started my year off with my biggest sales month EVER! January is always wave season and the usually the busiest month of the year for me bookings wise. I ended the month with a work trip with Disney Canada and sailed on the Disney Wish. During this sailing I also visited Atlantis in Nassau for the first time.

In March I had clients get married at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and they were so kind and invited me to attend the wedding as well. I couldn't say no and ended up bringing my family down to Walt Disney World Resort for a fun trip.

In April I was back at Walt Disney World Resort again. This time with a group of my Pure Magic Vacations co-workers to take part in my first RunDisney event ever. I did the Challenge weekend which was the 5km, 10km and 10 mile races. I had so much fun that I registered for 2 more Challenges coming up here in 2025.

In May I was able to attend a Seminar at Sea with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line with my coworker Amy at Pure Magic Vacations (my oldest daughter was also able to join me) and visited many new to me places....London UK (Buckingham Palace, Stonehenge, Kensington Palace, etc..), La Rochelle France, Bilboa Spain, Vigo Spain and La Coruna Spain. I also tried the IFly for the first time on the ship which is the wind tunnel that makes it feel like you are sky diving. We also went up in the North Star onboard which is a big viewing platform.

In June I celebrated my 20th Wedding Anniversary with my husband on a Mediterranean Disney Cruise. I visited more new to me places...Rome Italy (the Vatican, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, The Forum), Naples Italy (Climbed Mount Vesuvius and visited Pompeii), Mykonos Greece, Chania Greece and returned to one of my favourite places....Santorini Greece.

In September I did my first ever Adventures By Disney trip with my coworker Kirsten at Pure Magic Vacations. I visited all brand new places I had never been to and it certainly was an adventure. We sailed on the AmaSiena from Basel Switzerland and had port stops in Riquewihr Germany, Strasbourg France, Heidelberg Germany, Rudesheim Germany, Cologne Germany and Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

November we did a family vacation on the Disney Fantasy and got to visit Disney's newest island destination in the Bahamas Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. I also tried parasailing for the first time during one of our 2 stops at Disney's private island Castaway Cay. We also did a couple of days post cruise and stayed at a new to me resort...Disney's Old Key West Resort.

Finally wrapping up the year my husband and I attended a work trip to Universal Orlando Resort with part of the Pure Magic Vacations team. We were treated like real VIPs with a VIP experience tour day in the parks. I also got to explore a couple of their resorts that I haven't been to before which was great.

I feel very blessed to get to do what I do every day. This job is far from easy and very demanding of my time (even when I'm on vacation) and people truly don't understand how much work goes into doing what I do. Somedays it can be very overwhelming and almost too much, but I keep going because in the end I think it's worth it and I feel very lucky to get to visit many places that some people unfortunately won't get the chance to visit in their life and I love being able to help others plan their amazing adventures and I take great joy in helping others.

I am very happy and thankful that my husband has also started working with me as my assistant now that he has released from the military.

I don't just travel for myself, I travel to become a better travel advisor and to be able to help my clients as best I can. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of my family, coworkers, friends and amazing clients who support me in what I do. Whether it's my co-workers who help me when I need help or who just let me vent on tough days, or my family, friends and clients who book their vacations with me and who refer me to all of their family and friends. I really couldn't do what I do without all of you so thank you all so very much. ❤

RunDisney training day today. It was a long one...9.5 miles/15.3km. I did over 10km outside and came home to do the last 5km on the treadmill so I could grab a drink and some extra running fuel. 🏃‍♀️ Running music was on point and so was my post run water. 🙌

We don't do many Christmas gifts in our house since we prefer to spend our money on travel and experiences but I did get one fun Disney themed gift. A new Encanto puzzle. I'll be spending part of my weekend working on this. Hope you are all enjoying a nice weekend.

During our Disney Cruise this past November we tried something new. We went parasailing while we were at Disney's private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay. It was so much fun!
