Settling in our other world

From Anahim Lake to the Bella Coola Valley, 75km of dirt road through the Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, the last 12km of that stretch referred to as "The HILL" going from 5000' elevation to sea level, with 18%grade.Spent a few days in Bella Coola. Headed back up THE HILL toward Quesnel with some side trips to Taltayoko and Chilco lakes. Oct 21-26 2019

Our October 2019 escape - 1st installment:
Heading to Bella Coola driving off road over the Bonaparte Plateau over the Fraser River overnighting in the Churn Creek protected area through the Gang Ranch to the Nemaiah Valley and Chilco Lake. Had to abort and back track as the road linking the East side of Chilco Lake to the North side of Chilco Lake was not for our big rig. Back to Hwy 16 at Hanceville, west toward One Eye Lake for the night.

From Jedediah, explored by kayak around Paul and Jervis islands. Diet has now changed to oysters and mussles. We resettled for our last night to Jervis island, with Ozeki.

June 2019 -From Smuggler's cove to Denman island - wild fire and wild cloud formations

June 2019 - discovered by waves of tourist we escaped Smuggler's cove on our Hoby kayaks /sailboats and had an epic crossing across Welcome Pass to Bucanner Bay surrounded by the Thormanby islands. (it does not take much to be overpowered by wind and current)
