We hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Just a couple of early things to help if you need it:

- Need labels for school? We have a fundraiser through Mabel's Labels.
- How about new clothing, shoes, boots, outerwear, bags? We have a Jan & Jul fundraiser coming up.

Mabel's Labels Fundraiser

Label everything! To help, we have a campaign with Mabel's Labels that returns 20% of everything you spend back to the PAC.

To take advantage, simply:

1. Go to campaigns.mabelslabels.com

2. Search for and select Ross Road Elementary (North Vancouver) from the list. There are two Ross Roads so please make sure you select the correct one.

3. Shop as normal!

This is available right now and there's also currently 15% off sitewide if you enter SCHOOL15 at checkout. Hurray as we don't know when that ends.

Jan & Jul Clothing

Get stocked up for the Fall and Winter with our Jan & Jul Fundraiser. Super cute outerwear for everyone, just in time for Back to School! Not only can you get a discount, but the PAC also receives 10% of the proceeds. Win win!

Here's how it works:

1. Place your order on janandjul.com between September 6 - 20.

2. Enter code gb2409rres at check out to get 10% off.

3. Select "Pickup at your Daycare" in the shipping tab.

4. Your order will be shipped directly to the school and distributed before the end of September (pickup details to be confirmed).

Thanks everyone for your support!

Halloween Dance

Date: Friday October 27, 2023
Time: 5.30-8.00pm
Location: School Gym

The Halloween Dance is coming and it's time to work on your costumes and your little monster moves! By popular demand we have increased the capacity this year to 400 tickets and will be starting earlier at 5:30pm. We want to give as many students as possible the chance to attend, so while families are very welcome to join in the fun, not all parents are required to come as long as every student has a designated adult supervisor. The event is FREE with snacks and drinks provided as well as an opportunity for every child to get a print-out of their photos with friends and family at our Magik Mirror photo booth! Costumes are fun but optional and should follow the same school costume guidelines. Tickets are available now on MunchaLunch, and we expect them to sell out fast! Children will need to be able to identify at check-in who their adult supervisor is. See you there!

Our most popular fundraiser is back! For those not in the know, if you would like to save yourself from making lunch(es) once a week, you can order a range of food to be delivered to school, and distributed by the PAC.

You can register and order here: https://munchalunch.com/schools/RossRoad

Ordering will open on Sept 11, 2023 and the first term lunch will start on Friday Sept 29, 2023 and run until Jan 19, 2024. The ordering deadline for Term 1 hot lunch will be Oct 10, 2023.

New this year! To support Ross Road Green Initiative we strongly encourage students to bring their own reusable utensils on hot lunch day to help reduce our waste. Beginning Nov 1 disposable utensils will not be included in the lunch bin. If a student forgets to bring their own, a lunch monitor will need to come to the lunch table to ask for one.

If you have any questions, or would like to volunteer to help distribute, please take a look at the MunchaLunch FAQs on the website: https://rossroadpac.ca/munchalunch-faqs/
