Missouri Star Quilt Tour, April 23-28 2025!
A number of people have been asking for a tour to Missouri Star that only goes to Missouri Star. On this tour we will be stopping at quilt shops along the route, as well as having a lunch cruise on the Mississippi, going to the Missouri Quilt Museum and spending 2 days in Hamilton, so you can shop at Missouri Star Quilt shops.
I have arranged for everyone to take part in a workshop and we will listen to a guest speaker while we are in Hamilton MO.

I saved the best show for last, the Haygoods!
I honestly think this is the best show in Branson. This family of 4 brothers and 1 sister is amazing! They play 20 different instruments and their voices are wonderful.
Between the tap dancing in combat boots, the light show, Michael coming into the theatre hanging upside down on the ceiling playing the guitar and the music, you don't know where to look next.
Hands down the best show!!

One of the places we ate was the Keeter Center! This beautiful building is is on the campus of the College of the Ozarks. This is a non-demontional Christian college, that anyone can attend. The main criteria is that you have good grades and prove you cannot afford college.
The students work 15 hours per week and another 40 hours per semester and that pays for all their tuition. If they work in the summer the students can pay for the lodging and their year is totally paid for. If you go to Branson, make sure to eat at the Keeter Center and you can stay at the hotel there as well.
After dinner we were off to see Dean Z! He is an Elvis impersonator that if you close your eyes you wouldn't know it wasn't Elvis. One of the best shows in Branson.

The first night in Branson, we had a delicious dinner at the Grand Country Buffet then it was off to see the Legends in Concert. It was a great show.
One of the ladies made sure to have Russell's picture put on the screen for everyone to see. He is all set to call bingo on the coach!

I haven't had time to post for a few days, so before we came to Branson, we enjoyed a turkey dinner on the Mark Twain River Boat.
Then we sailed down the Mississippi River, learning about the river and hearing the adventures of Tom Sawyer.
While in Hannibal of course the ladies got to meet Pat, owner of Hickory Sticks quilt shop. It is definitely worth the stop.

Well that is a wrap for the Missouri Star birthday bash, with Edna's Travel.
We started the day at the Missouri Quilt Museum. If you are ever near Hamilton MO, it is worth the stop.
There are hundreds of antique toy sewing machines on display, along adult size antique sewing machines, 400 quilts on display plus many more sewing and quilting items.
At the end of the afternoon there was a classic car show on the main street.
The ladies have shopped until they dropped. Tomorrow we are off to Hannibal Mo.
It was a great birthday bash Missouri Star Quilt Company!

Well, that is a wrap for the Missouri Star birthday bash! We started the day by going to the Missouri Quilt Museum in Hamilton. If you are ever in Hamilton Missouri it is most definitely worth the stop.
There are hundreds of antique toy sewing machines on display, along with antique sewing machines for adults, 400 quilts on display plus many more quilt and sewing related items.
The day ended with a classic car show on the main street.
It was definitely a great 2 days for the ladies. They were given awesome swag bags, won many prizes and purchased fabulous deal of the day items.
Now we are off to Hannibal.

This the group each got 2 bags filled with these goodies! There is a layer cake, fat quarters, charm packs, mini charms and lots of notions and patterns! The ladies are so lucky!
The theme was a sock hop, so these are the banners.for this year.
Who knows who you will run into at the birthday bash, Elvis has left the building! He is in Hamilton Missouri enjoying the birthday bash!

It was a great way to spend my birthday escorting 81 excited ladies along with Russ, to the Missouri Star Birthday Bash!
We had tickets to the Jenny Doan quilt show and then tonight we went the Doan Family Quilt Show. It was so wonderful to see each of the family members show their favorite quilts and why they loved them.
I truly feel that the Doan Family appreciates every person who supports their business.
I love escorting quilters to Hamilton Missouri.
