We finally chose a name - Blue Heron Cottage!

We have a Blue Heron that fishes out front every evening that we love to watch and thanks to Dale Peters we’ve named the cottage Blue Heron Cottage!

2024 Rates:

You can book directly with us - the rates are $300 per night during peak season (June 15-September 15th). Peak season has a 5 night minimum.

Off season is $250 per night with a 2 night minimum.

Taxes and fees included.

Here is our booking and cancellation policy:

Policies

• Stay Duration: Riverview Cottages has a minimum 5 night stay during peak season and 4 night minimum during off season policy. Should guests choose to alter their plans and wish to leave before their booked nights have ended, no refunds are given.

• Check-in Period: Our standard check-in time is from 3 pm-11pm on the date of your scheduled arrival.

• Payments: We request a $300 security deposit at the time of booking, this does not reduce your balance owing on the rental.

50% of the rental amount due 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. The balance is due 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. We accept e-transfer or PayPal (subject to a 3% fee).

• General Cancellations: You may cancel up to 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. This includes the refund of the security deposit and rental amount paid.

If notice of cancellation is made after the 30-day deadline, the rental amount will be forfeited to Blue Heron Cottage. In these circumstances, we will do our very best to fill all or part of your cancelled reservation with a new booking. In the event we are successful, we will refund any recovered days.

Understanding the Security Deposit: Our Security Deposit covers a few different areas that ensure costs are recuperated as a result of unforeseen circumstances. The Security Deposit amount is $300.00 and MUST be provided at the time of booking to secure your dates. NO payment will be kept unless there is the due cause in which to do so. In these cases, photos will be taken whenever possible! The security deposit will be returned within 48 hours of departure via e-transfer or PayPal, whichever is preferred by our guest.
