Travel Tip Tuesday!

Is it time to renew your passport? Here are a few do’s and don’ts

DON’T wait until it’s expired.

DO try to start the process at least nine months before.

DO check your expiry date before booking a trip. Some destinations require passports that are valid for at least six months after your departure date. Some airlines won’t allow you to board if you don’t meet this requirement.

DO keep an eye on processing times, as they generally take a number of weeks.

DO work with a travel pro like me so your travels are stress-free. One of the things I keep an eye on is the expiry dates on my clients’ passports.

It’s all about balance, though. So when I’m not planning and researching itineraries or touching base with my suppliers to make sure client trips go smoothly you’ll find me sitting on my deck enjoying the sunshine or taking long walks with my family.

Would you rather take a cruise through the river or ocean? River cruises are more intimate ships with fewer passengers and can go places traditional cruise ships typically cannot. Traditional cruise ships are very large and have a larger number of people and amenities on board. Each provide a unique experience that is not to be missed!
