Hey ☺️‼️ Want to explore tunnels under the school?

Ontario Tech University’s ASME Student section is organizing a tour of Ontario Tech University’s amazing geothermal heating and cooling system.

Hidden beneath the 7,500 square-metre quads at the centre of our university’s complex is Canada’s largest geothermal system.

This highly efficient system provides environmentally friendly heating and cooling, capable of regulating the north campus buildings.

Attention OT and Oshawa Community!
It’s official! 🌱💚 For Earth Month, ASME OT Chapter will be partaking in the Community Impact Month with the ASME Professional Organization.
If you wish to join, sign up in bio!
What: Clean-up Cedar Valley Park
When: April 20, 2024 @ 11am
Where: Cedar Valley Park, Oshawa
Why: Cedar Valley Park is a nature area behind Ontario Tech University (OT) and shares a creek with Durham College (DC)/OT campus, and many of the student residences. Cedar Valley Park is a beautiful area that allows students to step out and enjoy nature close to campus. With the warm weather coming, we want to encourage students during their exam period to take breaks and get outside, and Cedar Valley is the perfect area for that. Unfortunately, due to other influences in Oshawa, this park is very dirty and can be dangerous due to needles and other waste. ASME leaders for the OT chapter are planning on going to clean up the park for Earth Month. We are opening the event up to anyone in the community who would like to join.
