Saw this sweet poem today.....
Winter time blues
In Osoyoos, where valleys hold their hush,
Wine and orchards await the gentle touch.
Beneath the mountains, clouds in embrace,
Yearning for blue skies, a springtime grace.
Orchards dormant, in patient repose,
Await the rain's end, as the story goes.
The lake surrenders its icy cocoon,
To birth new nests beneath the hopeful moon.
Rays peek through as the clouds disband,
Nature's canvas painted by a skillful hand.
Seasonal blues lift, a heavy cloak untied,
As blossoms emerge with newfound pride.
Osoyoos breathes, a sigh of relief,
A symphony of life, a vibrant motif.
In the dance of seasons, a hopeful display,
Spring emerges, chasing sorrows away.
